Is Apple iphone 6s still a smartphone that you should buy in 2019?

apple 6, 6s and a few more of their siblings will not be gettins iOS13
Will the apple iphone 6 , 6s and Se be getting ios 13???

In the present scenario, when all the smartphone companies are in a rush to introduce new

features and infinite( edge to edge) display, Apple iPhone 6s is still has that spark to stand

tall in the que. The smartphone was launched in September 2015. The phone comes with a

4.70-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 750 pixels by 1334 pixels at a PPI of

326 pixels per inch. Apple iPhone 6s is priced in India from Rs. 23,399* on limited e-commerce

 websites.

The Apple iPhone 6s is powered by 1.84GHz dual-core processor and it comes with a RAM
of 2GB. The phone packs 32GB (as Apple recently discontinued 64GB variant) of internal
storage that cannot be expanded. As far as the cameras are concerned, the Apple iPhone 6s
packs a 12-megapixel (f/2.2, 1.22-micron) primary camera on the rear and a 5-megapixel
front shooter for selfies, that clicks excellent photos and selfies even in 2019.
The Apple iPhone 6s runs iOS 9 and is powered by a 1715 mAh non removable battery.
It measures 138.30 x 67.10 x 7.10 (height x width x thickness) and weighs 143.00 grams.
The Apple iPhone 6s is a single SIM (GSM) smartphone that accepts a Nano-SIM.
Connectivity options include Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, NFC, Lightning, 3G and 4G (with support
for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Fingerprint
sensor, Compass/ Magnetometer, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer, Ambient light sensor,
Gyroscope and Barometer.

Apple inc. to end software update support for iPhone 6, iPhone 6s and more

Apple’s iphones' always had an advantage over Android phones, which is updates. The company which provides updates to even a 5-year-old smartphone, however, according to the recent reports, is going to replicate it's competitor Samsung, by stopping software update to it's iphone 6 and 6s handsets and a few more of their siblings.

The Apple iPhone 5s user was really lucky because the phone came out with iOS 7
and is currently running on iOS 12, which means that 5s got around 5 major updates during the cycle. On the other hand, the iPhone 6S, which came out in 2015 with iOS 9, will not get its fourth major update.
According to an Israeli website The Verifier, Apple will not roll out the update for  iPhone 6, iPhone 6 Plus, iPhone 6s, iPhone 6s Plus, and iPhone SE. It was also quite understandable that the Apple iPhone 5S would not be updated as iOS 12 was called its last update at its rollout.

The report further suggests that even the old iPads including iPad Mini 2, iPad Mini 3, iPad Mini 4, iPad Air and iPad Air 2 will also have to settle for the iOS 12. As for the iPods, the iPod 6th generation is the only iPod running on the latest version of iOS, which will also soon change as it will also not receive the upcoming update.
Apple has seen a decline in sales due to the rapid expansion of older iPhones. Preventing updates for older iPhones can help the company to increase sales slightly.
